Weather Without

The in-laws were in town for a few days, which is a good thing – I have really cool in-laws. They can come anytime they want. And not just because they always pay for lunch and dinner (though I did sneak cash into a register at a school function Friday before they noticed).

For lunch, we headed to one of our favorite little Cuban places and, even though it was cool and rainy outside, it was humid enough inside to build up a little sweat.

  1. I think my favorite part of this is the reflection, how it muddies everything together. I love abstract art, and this piece almost has that feel, with the pattern the beads of condensation make and the melting ice cubes. The color’s beautiful, too. Another great shot – nice job making the mundane, sublime.
