Up Too Early

Part of the home-deal is I drive the kids to school. Which makes perfect sense, since there are three buses that come down our road every morning for elementary school pickups. (Okay, only one of them goes to the right school, but still …)

As we move closer to the winter solstice (which I mark by wearing thicker socks, such is life in the south), the mornings get darker and darker. No golden light chasing me west to campus, the only warmth comes from a set of hideous lights outside of my building.

  1. Nice – again, I love the repeating pattern in the shadow. Might be because I’ve always loved shapes and abstracts, and enjoy photos that portray that.
