Big flakes fell for about 45 minutes, then it turned back to rain and then nothing. So we went to the movies for entertainment.

Rush Jobs on Short Days

They’ve been working on rebuilding the patio in front of the college for a few weeks, new cobblestones and granite benches. The side effect was tearing up the lawn, which was resodded on the same day the storm was to hit and the university closed early.

There are warnings for the weekend. Freezing rain, ice, maybe snow … anything from fog to six inches of snow. So, of course, we run short of milk and juice.
