Last Glance

After a wonderful memorial service at the Chapel, Prof. Conrad Fink’s portrait was taken down. After nearly 30 years of sitting in that office, having him glance at me as I walked past for the last few months was comforting.

In a moment I’m still humbled by, Sue, his wife, said she’d like me to care for his beloved typewriter. It’s in my office now and, come fall, will go back into use weekly for a year, at least.
