The days are getting shorter, but mine are still long.

And we had a birthday in class today.

For the last couple of years, I’ve spent a little time talking photojournalism with fourth graders. Best class so far, lots of good questions about storytelling and making a difference.

I’m a firm believer in hands-on, intensive learning. The only way out is through, so my kids spend a lot of time learning how to light.

The Mini got new sneakers and a life-time supply of free air today.

Our Georgia Drone Summit wrapped today, a year’s worth of planning executed without a hiccup. The Classic Center, where we ran the event, has everything from small meeting rooms to a 2,100 seat theater and was packed with meetings, events and weddings.

Day One started off with Steve Willer from AirMap and later featured with my good friend Al Tompkins from the Poynter Institute.
It was a very good day.
