We’re getting ready to demolish much of the front office space (the dean’s suites), so everything is coming off the walls and heading to storage.

Another morning on the backroads, the route is done and I’m pretty happy with it. A lot more work still to be done.
As I wandered past history and derelict buildings, my mind wandered to why we preserve some things and not others. How does one decide to build a wood structure that will last 132 years, or a cinder block one that won’t make it to 50?



Came down pretty good for a while.

We’re about to start a pretty major demo and rebuild job, so the college is crawling with folks looking for solutions to expected problems.
