Well, with a little concert by Canadian Brass, that’s another year of this phlog completed – 14 years of photos, no misses.
Egads.
I first heard Canadian Brass when one of their works was the theme song to our high school news magazine, back in the mid-1980s. Seeing them live was a treat, for me and others.
Now, on to year 15 – I may need a lift, too.

For the second year, we had some friends from North Carolina spend Thanksgiving with us. He’s a huge Bulldog fan and got tickets for the Tech game. The predicted cold kept his wife away, so I went along.
It was rough.
Down at the half, he’d had enough. We departed, he watched the multiple-overtime win on his phone. Hope he’s not disappointed …
