I’m not sure how you make this sharp of a turn, but there’s the evidence of it … on my lawn.

I’ve been driving by this little station for 15 years now, not sure it was ever a gas station or a garage in that time. It’s currently a car wash and they sold hot tubs before that.

Sometimes, the light appears and it’s all you can do to not abandon your car in traffic to chase it.
(For the record, I pulled a u-turn and parked.)

Two of my colleagues, Leara Rhodes and Jonathan Peters, started a wonderful tradition of monthly faculty lunches. Today’s gathering had us packed around a big table.

Everyone seeks direction at this point in the semester.
