I was out the door early to assist on a video shoot at Byne’s Blueberry Farm in Waynesboro. Dick Byne and his daughter Janie couldn’t have been more gracious. And the early ride down was visually loaded, too.

The day turned interesting quick, from some early pretty light to a late morning news conference that everyone seemed to watch.

It feels like one person should be watching many others.

The Mrs. is all kinds of excited as we’re hitting peak watermelon season. She cubes them, hits them with a little cayenne and spritzes them with some lime. Mmmm …

We get a couple of weeks of magic light – the angles are nice and the humidity is low enough that it’s not scattering photons the in the afternoon.
