Soon, they’ll chop these palm trees down to the ground and, in six months, they’ll be 20 feet tall and green again. The speed of growth is stunning.
And a little freaky.

Demolition in the dean’s suite at the college is well under way but the plastic barrier is not holding up well, dust is filtering out everywhere.

We had a big takeout order, was happy to see them checking the list again and again.

Yesterday got just warm enough to start melting the snow, then the temperature plummeted and everything froze again. Fun cycles.

We got a couple inches of snow today, enough to close most things down and make the world pretty for a while.
