For a dozen years, I was part of a great educators program down in Florida, co-directing it for many of those years. In the winter of 2023, they decided they didn’t want to continue it.
Knowing how valuable, if not profitable, it was, one of the other organizers and I decided to rebuild it, a joint project between the University of Wisconsin and the University of Georgia. Today, Katy Culver and I welcomed more than 50 faculty members from around the world to the new Journalism Educators Institute.
