A little behind on the yard work … this is a common scene across Georgia at this time of year, old homes being taken in.

Most drives towards town involve passing a chicken truck. Of late, it’s been logging trucks.

Someplace there’s a sketch for an animated character that looks a little like this shadow.

If you go downtown early enough, it almost feels abandoned.

The slow process of updating the decor in the Grady College continues, slipping new carpet underfoot and new paint up the walls. Those who have traversed this hall will note the now total absence of dead white people, a welcome change.

This took me a while to parse – a light post, with a lit lamp, in the woods adjacent to a parking lot. Completely surrounded by trees, no road or path near it.
It looks like the light posts were placed before the adjacent parking lot was built and then they changed the design, leaving one light in the woods, complete with a sensor to tell it when to turn on.
