A friend gave my wife a pot with a Hosta in it last year, said the deer kept eating it. We put it out on the porch and then we ended up with this – a sunflower. It’s not tracking the sun, though, and is only two feet tall or so.
Still, kind of cool.

This door is usually closed, so I never saw this sign. So comforting to know there may be asbestos around the corner from my office.

One morning it was here, by lunch, it was gone. The university does a nice job of making sure trees don’t come down on top of us.

Never noticed this sign at the airport, but it makes sense.

Not by me, by my wonderful wife. Who is gluten free and still bakes the most amazing things. This was one of her greatest creations, cooked in a cast iron Dutch oven, no less.

It may be time to clean the dining room …

So the photo above is my usual, casual observation of my world.
Below, though … this is my bitter, angry observation. Luxury SUVs that could figure out how to park in a handicapped space. One on the way into the grocery store and another, in the same spot, on the way out.
Each had a proper plate or tag, but really?
