Black and white in color, really.

Spending some time in Atlanta, long days from pretty morning light to the streetlights slipping past the hotel curtains.

Spotted in the parking lot in the morning, then at an early dinner downtown and, lastly, out a hotel room in Atlanta.

Several years ago, we killed and had taken down several sweet gum trees. I hate sweet gum trees. Whoever decided to plant the first one should be forced to walk, barefoot, across a field of sweet gum seed pods, those spikes bits of misery.

You can’t kill these things.

If this was going to someone’s office, I’d be worried.

Sometimes, you just run out of time and need to hit the car wash. I prefer to do it myself, better for the car and better for my soul, but life can get in the way.
