Clearing Out

Headed down to shuffle and haul back one of the college kids from Tinytown College. With a bed full of varsity debris, the storm clouds started to roll in. And out.

Then in again. Thank goodness for abandoned gas stations and cheap tarps.

We pulled the cover off the pool to find the expected Great Dismal Swamp. Shortly thereafter, the pump gave up the ghost so it shall remain like this for a while.

One of our cookout guests brought us a stunning bouquet of sunflowers that just glowed in the afternoon light.

We spent the afternoon with a porch full of friends for a Stick A Fork In It cookout. Almost all of the food needed a fork, excepting the sangria.

Yeah, it was a very long semester.
