Don’t remember seeing this note before, but okay then.
Shadow Trees
Low angle light is a wonderful thing.
Unrooted
I guess this is the end of our river birch, they tore out all its roots and ripped it out of the ground.
Morning Mist
The woods behind our home is a wonderful site some mornings.
The Hand That Feeds You
It would be easy to say one of our dogs is a jerk because, sometimes, he plays with his teeth in an inappropriate way. But it’s all about trying to figure out where he’s been.
He was a semi-rescue and it’s pretty clear that he was abused and neglected. Still, after three years with us, sometimes I don’t read the signs that he doesn’t want to have his belly rubbed against his will.
Rescue Paws
I may have missed this.
My Pie Day
I live with a bunch of nerds, they think March 14 is the greatest day of the year and like to make math jokes. But, really, it’s December 4 this year.
Those who pay attention to these things will see the tag has changed today, the last digit clicking up a spot. This post marks the start of my seventh year of this photo blog. I haven’t missed a day in the last six years, though I’ll admit there have been some pretty mediocre images at times.
Still, this is important to me. To bend a little light, to see a little moment, to catch a little pattern in life … these things make me happy.
