Somedays, I just don’t see much of interest. Not that it isn’t there, just my mind isn’t there. I hate days like this.
Tornado Warning
It’s severe weather awareness week and Georgia pulled out all the stops – in the middle of my Introduction to Photojournalism class, we went under an actual tornado warning. The Photo Cave is on the first floor, so veryone on two through five has to come down until given the all-clear.
So, I sent my students out to cover the warning …
Weathering, Again
We are back into a stretch of dark days.
At Work
Had the Intro to Photojournalism students out on the Grady lawn to work on focal length expansion and compression exercises.

Departures
Our time on Jekyll Island went by way to quick, a short trip we get to reprise later this year for another conference. Breakfast on the way out at a lovely dive in Brunswick, then a wander over to St. Simon’s Island.
Sunrise Light
One of the perks of having a dog that wakes you up way too early every day is that, even on vacation, you’re up before the sun. Might as well take advantage of that.
Lean In
The southern trip was for an SCCA conference and the CEO, Mike Cobb, was in attendance and participating, something I wasn’t expecting but was happy to see.
