We headed to campus this evening to see the Indigo Girls perform with the University of Georgia Symphony Orchestra. At the end, some fans started pulling guitar picks off the mic stands, claiming it was encouraged.

Today was a tough day, a goodbye to my wife’s step-mother who loved her as her on child. The 16 of us took a walk in the woods, together and alone. Husbands and sons and nieces and nephews, each of us touched by her grace and goodwill.
