Back staircase, nasty light.

Wandering through Maryland, I came across the old Chesapeake and Ohio Canal and the Paw Paw Tunnel. It’s just over 3,000 feet through the slate and ledge, mostly dug by hand and black powder in the 1850s.

I really want an Eames chair someday, but probably not this one …
