Headed up to Clarkesville, Georgia, for a talk, found a few quasi-ruins along the way.

On the way back to town after a meeting in Atlanta … made it before this opened up.

I pass this rusted roof building every morning and afternoon on my way to campus. In ten years, I’ve never seen a soul near it.

I have spent the last few weekends slowly getting the yard in shape and part of that has been deciding what the front of the house should look like. In the back woods there’s one random Japanese maple that I’ve always liked, so we picked up two more saplings and put them out front.
