You may ask … Y?

Inside and out of the county library, small places to sit and ponder the world.

Tucked to the sides of the university’s main library are some small benches, slipped between the columns.

There are many things in our yard we have built, planted, resurfaced, covered and ripped out. But these orange lilies were here when we moved in and will probably be here when we depart.

For reasons I cannot fathom, someone dumped broken pieces of pavement in the stream behind our house, leading to a little oil slick.

The persistent humidity of Georgia, coupled with just a touch of shade, will let mildew grow everywhere – including on the concrete around the pool. A few hours with the pressure washer will take care of it, though.
For a while …

Nice afternoon to be out and about.
