Today kicked off the Transom Traveling Workshop which we’re hosting for the second time. Instructors Rob Rosenthal and Mary Helen Montgomery demonstrated some interviewing techniques as part of the launch.

Spending some time in Atlanta, long days from pretty morning light to the streetlights slipping past the hotel curtains.




Spotted in the parking lot in the morning, then at an early dinner downtown and, lastly, out a hotel room in Atlanta.



Several years ago, we killed and had taken down several sweet gum trees. I hate sweet gum trees. Whoever decided to plant the first one should be forced to walk, barefoot, across a field of sweet gum seed pods, those spikes bits of misery.
You can’t kill these things.
