A rain, quiet day, like we’re waiting for what’s next.

As a small gathering took place in Washington, D.C., a smaller one took place on campus. A little disorganized, a little disaffected. A universal feeling at the moment.
In the evening, some 4,000 people marched in protest downtown.


An evening walk back to the car after a downtown meeting. Some parts of campus are well lit, some are not.

Colleagues are recycling binders in the halls.

Nice light and riduculous temperatures. Mid-January should not be into the mid-70s.


Spent some more time on the byways outside of town, the route for The Magic Mile Rally is written. Still a lot of work to do, but this is fun.

Once every couple of months, the Mrs. and I take a long ride out of town to save a little bit of money. It’s worth it for the entertainment if nothing else, though if we needed a pallet of Coke, we could get it.
