More Trees Taken

On a couple of occasions, the grounds crew has appeared with chainsaws and shredders to make old trees disappear. There is the occasional outcry when an old oak or birch comes down, but usually with good cause.

No one has lamented the removal of the last Bradfrd pear trees.

Hidden Wires

The building I work in is 48 years old, it’s doing things never imagined – communication lines, wireless signals. Of course, the heating and cooling system are mostly original, so the ceilings get opened on a regular basis.
