An early morning errand run and I found some cut-back kudzu along the way.


The weather is turning and you can dine outdoors again, letting you see little slivers of light around campus.

I never get tired of the late afternoon light in our dining room.

Outdoor living, perhaps.

That private parking spot from yesterday didn’t last long.

Suspect this is leftover from the game, or maybe some have just taken to reserving their favorite parking spots.


One of our favorite spots closed suddenly a few years ago, nothing has taken up its space downtown.

We took down some trees a few years ago but didn’t have the stumps ground out. One of them has been decaying at a satisfying rate, giving life to new weeds.
