Our Georgia Drone Summit wrapped today, a year’s worth of planning executed without a hiccup. The Classic Center, where we ran the event, has everything from small meeting rooms to a 2,100 seat theater and was packed with meetings, events and weddings.

Day One started off with Steve Willer from AirMap and later featured with my good friend Al Tompkins from the Poynter Institute.

It was a very good day.

It’s a mattress store, or maybe this is for the pawn shop.

The Advanced Photojournalism class is deep into the studio strobe weeds.

We’re a couple of days out from the Georgia Drone Summit, it’s down to setting up laptops for the presentation rooms and other little details.

Yeah, I had my low-profile, summer tires on some dirt roads … it was entertaining.
