It’s like large-scale dominos at the home center.

Spent most of the day in a board meeting, only getting glimpses of what looked like a very nice day.

Tonight commenced the march to the finish – dinners, meetings, awards ceremonies and piles of grading. It kicked off with the Red and Black banquet, a fine way to start.


Spring growth is rampant on campus and, in Atlanta, more signs of faith.


Today, the college honored Jodi Cantor and Megan Twohey with the McGill Medal for Journalistic Courage for their work exposing cultures of sexual harassment and helping to launch the #metoo movement. Some days, I am really proud of the place I work.

Pollen washing off the tires, rain soaking the campus and petals stripped from trees. Welcome to spring in the south, folks.
