The Drive In Rally is checked and ready to go.

And, in a slightly sad note, this is my last day with my Mini. Tomorrow morning, it will wander off and be replaced with a Subaru Outback.

We host a Management Seminar for College News Editors every summer, I’ve participated almost every year since 2007 (and have the shirts to prove it). Part of the week is a breaking news exercise, where editors from across the country have to work on a team to cover an event.

This year, we ended up with a fire alarm going off in the building that was not part of the exercise, so the kids grabbed laptops and worked outside for a bit.

Out do dinner with a dear friend, then a little wandering around Billy Weeks before we teach together tomorrow.

Maybe it didn’t fit in the storage unit?
