It feels like it’s been storming for months, hoping it clears out for the weekend and my hat gets a chance to dry.

Some friends messaged us late and asked about heading downtown for an outdoor show. The weather didn’t cooperate, but the light was awful nice before the tornado sirens went off.

After a little more than two years, I let my beloved Mini go. And, last night, I sold our Honda Ridgeline that we’d owned for almost a decade.
We need to get a car for the Medium Boy and I am out of space in the driveway, so two cars needed to become one for a while. Both of those vehicles were great tools, a joy to use for their intended purposes. And the Mini was easily one of my favorite cars, a go kart with air conditioning.
Someday, I may get another. The style, ride, performance and overall ethos suits me. But the thought of higher-mileage repairs scared me a bit, I’m not going to lie.
Plus, I listed my politics on Facebook years ago as Subaru and we haven’t owned one in the last ten years, that’s not corrected.
