Heading south again, hopefully to stay for a while.

Managed a little time with some of the nieces and nephews, but, unfortunately, not all.

Unscheduled long distance trips, something I really don’t enjoy. Back on the road after one day home for a family funeral. And this trip really ought to be by car, but time is against me and by air it is.

I figured when I left the field I’d stop collecting credentials … I have more from my post-newsroom time than pre, I think.

Vegas trip is a wrap, after entering the hotel Wednesday night I stepped outside for a ten minute phone call and that was it. Happy to be heading home, though it is in the other direction.

Found a room with more than a dozen phone jacks, may be time to repurpose this space.

This was out for a couple of days, never saw anyone using it. Seems like the props should have been helmets and firesuits.
