Here I go again, opening up another year on the photo blog. In 2010, I decided to start a photo-a-day project for a year. I haven’t stopped, so this is year 11, without missing a day.
I’ve posted images made in five different countries and probably 18 states, along with the District of Columbia. I’ve posed images made on Olympus, Panasonic, Canon and Fuji cameras. I don’t think there are any iPhone images in here, but it’s possible something snuck in.
I themed part of the project with square compsitions, experimented with doing black and white.
Along the way, I’ve changed the way I see a bit, but it’s still mostly about the little things in life, the things we pass by and don’t take much notice of. Details of life, really.

In a few seconds, I’m going to press post on this entry. And, with it, I’ll complete ten years of this phlog. Ten years of making and posting at least one photo online, every day, without missing a day.
This started as a one-year project – I am not good at judging time. My wife says I’m a long talker, I don’t know how to end a conversation.
Not sure I know how to end this, either …

A different interpretation.

Tis the season already.
