Was at the Red & Black banquet where a former student and soon to be new faculty member Lori Johnston was able to chat with Sue Fink, wife of former UGA legend Conrad Fink. And, below, evidence of the bond these student journalists build throughout their years at the independent student publication.

Spring is hitting hard right now, reflected in everything around us.

Found by the abandoned railroad track that runs through my parking lot.

Headed home after a couple of days in Central New York. Almost always some mixed feelings as I miss the people and geography. But the south is now my home, having lived here for more than a quarter of my life.

Ducked into a little two-restaurant strip mall for dinner next door to this place.
