The late afternoon sun poured into the kitchen and the mask-making continues.

The Mrs. is a prolific baker and cook. The last few days she’s been focused on making masks but, this evening, she whipped up some gluten-free pumpkin waffles complete with pumpkin butter.
A little taste of fall on a spring evening.

The local elementary school again. It’s only been a few weeks and it’s already feeling like it’s been forever.



The mask making continues, a couple dozen have gone out the door already, donated to local home health aid organizations. Another set is destined for the women’s shelter in town.



On my evening walk, I did a lap around the local elementary school. Lost coats, artwork in empty halls and assignments left outside for students.


Social distancing was marked out at Lowes this morning, too.


Got in two walks today, that never happens.



My former boss biked over to drop off some maple syrup that was sent to us by a friend. It’s getting to be a bit like a game of ding-dong-ditch – put something on a porch, ring the doorbell and then scamper out of range.
Downtown, local shoppers were respecting each other’s space as they waited to go into the Daily Grocery Co-op.
