I rose early, well before anyone else, as I wanted to make a simple photo – majestic saguaro cacti at sun rise in the Arizona desert.
The sun gods had other ideas – my drive was in rain, my loop through Saguaro National Park was shrouded in fog. Mystical in the mist.
In the afternoon, we headed west to the Sonoran Desert Museum and the light, at last, broke.
