Kind of cool.

It has taken until well into my 30s to start drinking coffee. Now, I am learning to enjoy the quiet bustling of the campus Jittery Joe’s. Today was the first time I noticed the light that streams across the vast space.

(And for the geeks, shot this on a Canon 1D Mark IIn in RAW + JPG and then connected the camera to an iPad … All without having to get up from my seat. Which still sort of amazes me.)

Olympus loaned me an E-P2 to test for a few days … I may be in love. Is this the walk around, always with me Leica replacement I have been searching for?

Don’t get me wrong, the Canons I shoot with are amazing, but not exactly portable. Or subtle. And the little G10 produces amazing files, but there is a level of complexity and a lack of simplicity to it that this camera, with a fixed 17 mm lens, really gives me.

Do I have to send it back?

On the road, trying not to embarrass myself too much. Failing, miserably.
