Not sure of the source, but there was a decent oil film running down Jackson Street.
In my time as a photojournalist, I covered a lot of funerals for fallen officers and firemen. Even one would have been too many. Today, Athens buried one of their own, shot while still in his patrol car.
I thought about covering the procession, but decided there would be enough people there to do it justice. I saw this scene as I ran an errand – officers from elsewhere coming in to pay their respects on an overcast day.



I am forever thankful of our spherical world. If it were flat, the light would never wrap.
It means just one thing here … pollen.
