Christmas in July

Grandma Johnson’s Christmas Cake recipe makes two cakes. One is eaten in December, the other one gets wrapped and frozen. The start of the kids’ band camp seemed like a good reason to bring it out.

Renovate

The slow process of updating the decor in the Grady College continues, slipping new carpet underfoot and new paint up the walls. Those who have traversed this hall will note the now total absence of dead white people, a welcome change.
