Many things to see today as I visited the newsroom of the Times-Courier in Ellijay and then headed to the movies with the Mrs.


Some downtown locations are stable, some are not, some never will be.

A good visit, learned a lot, could have stayed longer to explore how the city is rebuilding itself, much like it’s news source.

A road trip to Birmingham, early on the road so I took the high way through the hills around Talladega.


The Mrs. headed west to surprise a friend at her college graduation this past weekend. Her flight home was delayed a bit, so I had some time to kill. Rain, mist, fog, closed stores and barbed wire fences.


Some errands, some chores. Including putting a fourth touch panel into our bloody stove. Yes, four in eight years. At $170 a pop.
