Morning breaks over those active train tracks.

Early morning and one side of campus lights up. In the afternoon, setting up for a farewell reception.


There are train tracks that run along the eastern edge of campus, right next to my parking lot. My students will occasionally wander over there to do portraits and I always tell them not to. They claim they aren’t in use – they are.
It’s private property, it’s trespassing and starting next semester, it’s in the syllabus as an automatic zero, no recovery.

As best I could tell, this was to caution folks away from a small hole in the ground.

Our last day in Ellijay and this is a typical scene – a former classmate (Katye Brier), a current student (Rachel Harris) and a former student-turned-pro (Lyric Lewin) talking storyline.
These are good days.

Even small towns have their big box stores now.
