The county installed speed bumps on our road over the summer, now they’re covering up the planning phases.


Morning light hits the turning foliage out back. Almost a sign that fall has arrived.

To me, it’s the best day of the year. It starts quiet and ramps up quickly – the simple things, coffee and dogs, then the big things. It ends with a gathering of family and friends, a shared meal that lingers.
Maybe that’s what’s wrong with us these days, who lingers anymore?



Had to run the Medium Boy to the airport, managed to make it in and out of the city before the really big mess began.

Wandering the town, in search of the last little things for Thanksgiving, I kept seeing things that aren’t here yet.
