Makes me happy to see my kids making photos, telling stories and building connections when I wander across the campus.

Tis the season for the wind to blow.

We headed back to Dahlonega for our second photo competition with the kids from the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga. While there, we met Anonciata Happolit who told us that in her native Haiti, missionaries come in to build them churches but what they miss is the need to build communities.

We could learn something from that statement, eh?

Time for the Red & Black spring board meeting where the student leaders get to chat with board about their progress and plans.

Was at the Red & Black banquet where a former student and soon to be new faculty member Lori Johnston was able to chat with Sue Fink, wife of former UGA legend Conrad Fink. And, below, evidence of the bond these student journalists build throughout their years at the independent student publication.
