We had Grady alum David Wallens from Grassroots Motorsports on campus and, this evening, took him over to meet the students in the UGA Motorsports club. It was a fascinating conversation in so many ways.




Headed down to ATHICA for the opening of the Jason Thrasher exhibit, work from his trip to India two decades ago. Very much worth it.

Our little SCCA tent was right across from AMG’s tent … we were nver invited over, even though we were just like them.
Ahem.
It was a good day as I was able to walk the paddock after my shift with David Wallens who snuck me into the AMG parts trailer.
Even saw the first NSX again – I think this is the third time I’ve photographed it in the last two years. And saw this elegant solution to wheel nuts backing off on a Penske Acura prototype.
