The hardest thing to teach and learn in a photojournalism class is flash. It’s math and photons you can’t see doing things you can’t always see. It takes a lot of practice and a lot of thinking.

But when it works, it’s an awesome tool to have in your bag, so we spend a lot of time on it. This week, we moved in to the second part – multiple flashes synched together and had a little fun.
