The monthly Coffee & Cars gathering was today. Always a fun time at the Jittery Joe’s Roaster, Porsches, Ferraris, VWs, Saabs, Fiats and MGs. Someday, maybe, I’ll do an MG.

We got the word a few days ago, the river birch that has graced the front of our building for decades had reached the end of its run. It wasn’t safe, it was shedding limbs, it had to come down.

No idea why, but there it was in the parking lot.

The chairs have to get stacked somewhere.

I carry a camera everywhere, though I don’t carry big ones or lots of glass. And, sometimes, that bites me and I don’t get the image I really wanted, like Rosalynn Carter speaking at the Atlanta Press Club. Instead, I just get patterns from light fixtures.

Not the same.

Probably not going to grow real big in this enclosed box.

I don’t know why our local cantina has a wheelbarrow on display so prominently, but I like it.
